Meet Rosie and Hayley, our two standard breed goats that joined our herd in the Fall of 2008.
We hope that they will be the future milkmaids of WeberWood Acres.

Rosie is registered Experimental.  Her mother is a registered Toggenburg, and her father is a registered Saanen.  She has a very sweet, loveable personality.  She LOVES attention, and will lean on you and close her eyes when you pet her.  She has beautiful long white eyelashes, and adorable white wattles that we call her "bo jangles".  Rosie has learned how to do tricks.  She knows how to jump through a hula hoop, and how to "bow down".

Hayley is a registered American Oberhasli.  She is by far the most elegant looking of all of our goats.  She always attracts a lot of attention when people come to visit because of her regal appearance.  Like Rosie, she loves attention, but on her own terms.  She has a very unusual sounding bleat.  It almost sounds like a fog horn!  She is also learning tricks quickly.  She has mastered jumping through the hula hoop  (when she wants to), and is working on "bow down".
